If You Train Others, You Need to Read This.

Hello everyone, I’m excited to share some ideas on how we can make our training sessions lively and fun. I know that sometimes training can feel slow and boring, but I believe we can change that by adding some simple and fun techniques.

One idea I love is active learning. Active learning means you get to join in and do things instead of just listening all the time. When you are part of the lesson by talking, moving, or doing small activities, you remember things much better. It makes our time together feel more like a fun game than a long lecture.

I also like to use a simple guide called Bloom’s taxonomy. I know the name might sound a bit fancy, but it is really just a tool to help us learn step by step. We start with the basic facts, then we move on to understanding those facts, and finally, we learn how to use them in our everyday lives. This way, our learning grows like a staircase, where each step builds on the one before.

After a training session, I always want to know if you enjoyed it and learned something useful. That is why I use something called the Kirkpatrick method. This method helps me see if our training made a difference. We ask simple questions like, “Did you like the session?” or “Can you use what you learned at work or at home?” This helps us see that the fun ideas we used are really working.

I truly believe that training should be like a friendly team game where everyone gets to participate. When we share stories, ask questions, and do activities together, our training becomes an adventure. I hope these ideas help you see that learning can be exciting and not boring at all.

Thank you for joining me on this journey to make our training sessions full of energy and fun. Let’s work together to make every session an opportunity to learn, grow, and enjoy ourselves.

  1. Active learning can be a challenge for some trainers. Neicey broke it down for me and my training sessions are much more viable. Not only that, but it makes it more fun to teach using this method. So glad I was able to benefit from this training.
